SCHWERIN:
A brief history of Schwerin: It became part of the Duchy of Mecklenburg in 1358 which made it the seat of dukedom, and where dukes resided for several centuries.
The main sites are the Schwerin Castle, Schwerin Cathedral (built between 1260-1416) in the Gothic style, the Old Garden square, the Town Hall, and Saint Nicolai (originally built in 1238), We spent three hours in Schwerin.
