MEISSEN:
Nov 10: One of the few times during this cruise we were able to view some of the landscape from Dresden to Meissen, because we sailed during the early morning hours while having breakfast in the dining room with huge picture windows.
The Renaissance architecture of the Church of Our Lady in this ancient town is one of the highlights of Meissen, but the real attraction is the Meissen Porcelain Factory.
Our first tour of Meissen was the porcelain factory. There are five stages to the production of porcelain artworks, from the forming by clay to the firing, but I will only show only three stages. I will post many pictures from this factory, because their artwork is beautiful and unique - and very expensive.

TOWN OF MEISSEN:
The pictures I took in the town of Meissen pretty much represents what I saw. It was very cold that morning, so I went into a shop and bought a yarn cap to cover my ears.
