Cabo's port is highly commercialized with nothing but shops. Most are relatively new buildings, and some of the shops are huge. They carry everything that has to do with arts and crafts, souvenirs, t-shirts, food and drinks. One nice aspect is the dock is located on one side, and all one needs to do is walk around the bay with wide sidewalks to get to the older part of town - which has more character in my opinion. They also have some pretty nice restaurants and the smallest bar in the world - where I had a beer.
