Anomalousness
It feels strange to have time off and I don't really know what to do. I feel like I should be doing something, something Camp Korea (CK) related. Anything CK related. But I'm resisting. There is plenty I could be doing, but I'm not going to worry about that right now, not that I finally have some time off. You see, I'm playing a little game with myself. I'm testing myself and if I'm as diligent as I think I can be then I'll get right through to Monday morning without worrying about CK and the 5 camps I've left to manage. Now there's a challenge. It's now 10:30 on Saturday evening and 1pm today marked the first time since Christmas Day, 18 days ago, that I officially had time off. I slept for most of the afternoon (that had more to do with last nights end of camp #2 celebrations than my newfound freedom) and here I am now waxing on about how great it is to have some time off. Sorry to bore you all.
2 of 10
2 of the 10 camps we're entrusted with presiding over are done and dusted. Camp #2, the important orange sweater camp that I managed, ended earlier today and the majority of its teachers have already left here to begin another camp in another galaxy far, far away. They were a good group, a group who ensured this past week was a whole lot more bearable for me than the first week of camp. I sense the back of this whole CK thing has been broken - things should be getting easier as the remaining 19 days we'll spend here pass. The teachers who did remain here will help us collectively get through the 5 camps we still have to run (3 of them are only 4 day camps) and the three currently underway, the 3 red-sweater wearing camps Meg is in charge of. Sorry to bore you all... again.
"I knew them when"
I told you all in the last entry how Travelpod are going to display one of our pictures from this trip on the front page of its website. Well, it gets better - they are also going to feature this blog (the whole trip) as a 'Featured Trip', meaning it'll be getting exposure. Lots of exposure, as is normally the case with blogs given the honour. And if that wasn't enough they are also going to be featuring my last trip as well! Double whammy. Sorry, but it looks like your days of having us to yourself are numbered.
