Hello again!

4 countries down (India, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia), 5 to go!
Welcome back! So with the clock really ticking to get out of Thailand we made a beeline south through very strong Muslim areas of southern Thailand and crossed over the border last Thursday into Malaysia.

Presently we're on an island in the extreme north west of the country called Langkawi. It's a lovely place. It also helps that, thanks to a big tourist drive but the Malaysian government to promote the island as a tourist destination, the whole island is a duty free zone. Yep, you guessed it, cheap beer! But alcohol isn't all that widely available in the country as a whole due to the large Muslim population (90% of the population are Muslim and they class alcohol as anti-Islamic). We intend leaving here tomorrow. We've had an amazing time here. We met some great travellers, including Eamo, a college mate of mine. We all hung out together, toured the island, drink a lot of beer and even developed a Frisbee team, The Langkawi Tigers! Yep, great memories and it will be very sad to leave. A definite of the trip so far. But leave we must. We still have the rest of Malaysia to see and we have a flight from Singapore to Bali on the 13th of March.

Well that's about it for our trip thus far. As you Can probably tell we're still having a ball and loving every minute of it.

Speak to you all soon.
