Where I stayed
Hantavirus Warnings everywhere in the Park. We have been extra careful to avoid the campgrounds at Curry Village. Haven't seen any mice or droppings, so hopefully we were safe.
Today we went to Tuolumne Meadows area of Yosemite. Another very winding road that takes over an hour to go 40 miles.
First stop was Olmsted Point where we picked up a shuttle bus that stopped at various places along Tioga Pass Road.
First hike was the John Muir Trail to Twin Bridges. It was a beautiful trail along the Lyell Fork of the Tuolumn River. Prettiest river so far.
Our next hike was along the Tenaya Lake, where people were swimming and kayaking. The lake was crystal clear and greenish-tourquoise water. Another great hike.
Needed a soak in the hot tub after the hikes today.
