We headed to Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias in the morning. Stopped at Bridalveil Falls (just a trickle again). Mariposa Grove was about 35-40 miles away from El Portal, but it took 1 1/2 hours to get there because you could only go about 35 mph on a very winding road.

We did the .8 mile uphill hike to the Giant Grizzly and of course, George continued on for another 1.2 miles to the museum, while I headed back down to the parking lot.

Our next stop was Glacier Point, which was just breathtaking with views of the Yosemite Valley and Half Dome. I hope the pictures can show just how beautiful it really is.

Ended the day with a swim in the pool as it was almost 99 degrees outside today. Blister on my foot as well.
