We headed out this morning down Interstate 81 in the pouring rain around Harrisburg, PA and thought this was going to be a nasty day for travel, but the sun came out a little later and it was a very pleasant ride. Got off onto Route 17 through some beautiful Shennadoah(?) Valley area and the ride was so pretty going to Fredericksburg, VA. We then headed down I 95 to Richmond and over to I 64 to Norfolk area. Stopped for lunch again, so now we've used up all our cold cuts and we can try some of the local food tomorrow on the Outer Banks. We had a little side adventure around Williamsburg, VA as we needed gas and then we couldn't seem to get back onto I 64 until after to got downtown Williamsburg, but the gas was 3.27 so I guess it was worth the detour. We are now in Chesapeake, VA for the night before heading to the Outer Banks tomorrow. Only picture I have is of us driving into the tunnel going from Hampton Va to Norfolk, Va....sorry, will do better tomorrow.
