We left Memphis, TN this morning and took Highway 64 East for a very pleasant drive through rural Tennessee. Saw lots of cotton fields and lots of huge horse farms (probably Tennessee Walking Horses). The farms were beautiful with white fences all around them. Went through some small towns and the drive was a lot better than taking I-40 through Nashville traffic on Labor Day weekend.

Met up with our friends Helga & Ed Fann and went out for supper. Great seeing them again, we always have a great time with lots of laughs when we come to Nashville.

Might go to Country Music Hall of Fame on Saturday with them.
