Many Glacier Area of Glacier, Montana

We left East Glacier after doing our laundry and headed north on 49 and 89 with some spectacular scenery along the way. We saw the huge burn area of Glacier near St. Mary's. We took the Going to the Sun Road (GTTSR) for about 10 miles and took pictures of St. Mary's Lake and Wild Goose Island. We stopped at Sunrift Gorge and walked to Baring Falls and Sun Point, both beautiful spots. Ate our picnic lunch at Rising Sun picnic are and then drove up to Many Glacier, which was about 21 miles away to check-in at Swiftcurrent cabins. We checkedout Many Glacier hotel, which is quite an historic hotel built back in the early 1900's.
