Sharks or dolphins?

Went down to the beach today for a bit of a sunbathe, it's a really nice bit of beach along from us. Was just laying there reading and listenening to music and stuff and looked up to see this fella videoing the sea. Bit weird. So I started watching the sea and a massive wave came up and there were 3 what I though were sharks swimming in it!! They were so close to shore it was amazing, you could see them so clearly! And then when we started looking properly all the way along there were fins and shadows of them everywhere! I got so excited!
It was weird because they really seemed like sharks where they'd just stick there fin out every so often and they looked like them. But when I googled it in the evening there had been a sighting of 1 shark there in 2010 but loads of sightings of groups of dolphins there a load of times! So I reckon they must have been dolphins, but they weren't jumping around like dolphins do and no-one was in there swimming with them! I don't know how we'll find out what they were! Anyway it was a nice day but we both got a little bit burnt as it was pretty windy there.
