Mis Estimados Compadres,[
Amigos, Amigas, Compañeros y Compañeras:
Now. Here. This . Ahora. Aquí. Esta.

I saw the acting President of the Mexican Teacher's Union on the Mexican News TV.
The President is in jail on charges of embezzlement and corruption and is being held
with out bail - she owns condos in New York City and Switzerland....
The acting President had long black hair, a black beard and a real mean, cruel look and
he looked like he would be comfortable as the head of a drug cartel... He looked like the type of person that the union members would not want to tangle with or tango with (and I do not mean dance with)...
My daughter Jill is a teacher in Toronto...

People outside of San Miguel were complaining that their phone service was down.. It turned out that Mexican thieves had stolen 3 miles of telephone lines (for the copper in them) - it seems to me that this is free enterprise and the free market in action.......

Somebody in Florida won $600 million on PowerBall in the USA. The ticket was bought in a small town in Florida....The winner has not come forward yet and the news media reporters are going around asking everyone if the were the winner..... .

San Miguel is in the middle of a desert. Every once in awhile something reminds me of that.
Like when I threw a dish pan of water off of my terrace onto the street, late at nite.
When I looked out 30 minutes later there was no water on the street - it had dried up completely.
I put some towels that were soaking, dripping wet out on my terrace - 30 minutes later they were completely dry - it is unbelieveable the way that the air sucks the moisture out of everything...
No wonder people have clothes lines on the roofs of their houses to put their clothes out on to dry.
I do not think electrical clothes dryer dry clothes any faster than that.... The desert climate seems to produce a lot of flowers and vegetation in San Miguel - maybe people water them on a regular basis....

Pictures of some of the vegetation and flowers that are everywhere in San Miguel.....
