Going through the airport security in Ottawa, I got Special Treatment, which is the full treatment
- which seems to be the norm for me... It is getting so that I think of the special treatment/full treatment going through security is the norm or regular treatment until I notice that almost everyone else is going through security without getting the Special Treatment - Full Treatment...the full body search, the electronic scanner scan of my entire, whole body, etc... Maybe I should feel special, always getting the special treatment - but I do not feel special..I just accept it as the norm... I do think that there is some kind of profiling going on here - or maybe they just want a real good look at my body....
They wanted me to take all of my clothes off - but that is where I draw the line - I refused to do it,
and they let me go through anyway...
I had to transfer in Toronto - I arrived in Toronto at a gate in the "A" section of the Toronto Airport..
My connecting flight was in the airport's "E" section, gate 77...the section of the airport that was furthest from the "A" section of the airport - and gate 77 was almost at the end of the "E" section of the airport - there is 81 gates in the "E" section of he airport..So I was just 4 gates short of being the furthest possible distance from the gate of my connecting flight to Mexico.....
I swear on my Mother's grave it was a 2 or 3 mile walk to the gate of my connecting flight....
It was like going down endless, never ending corridors of a gigantic, humongous hospital.
The corridors just seemed to go on, and on, and on, and on, and on forever and never end....
Fortunately, for me, there was moving sidewalks most of the way so I didn't actually have to walk.
Also, one of the walls was floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the airport - so there was a lot of natural lite and a good view of the Airport and Toronto...
I get very stressed in these types of situations. But a lot of people - actually it is a small minority,
but they are very noticeable - are very noticeably hyper - running down the moving sidewalks,
running up the escalators, running up the stairs beside the escalators because the people standing on the escalators were a block to them running up the escalators - and in general looking very agitated and hyper..
After 30 minutes of traveling down the never ending corridors I was starting to wonder (and worry) if I was going to have enough time to get to my gate to make my connection. I did get to the gate in time. The first class passengers had just started to board - I hate this class system - we should all be equal.....
Fortunately, I did not have to go through security again in the Toronto airport....
THANK GOD for small blessings......
The gate check in staff all seemed to be Mexican - and this is an Air Canada flight - and the airplane staff all seemed to be Mexicans -  which makes sense because over half of the passengers seemed to be Mexican - and some of them may speak little or no English.........
The Air Canada information screen on the back of all of the passenger's seats gave all of the information in miles, feet, miles per hour, etc...Both Canada and Mexico are metric countries and the flight was from Canada to Mexico - from one metric country to another metric country..
There are a lot of things wrong with the world - fortunately I am not one of them...
On the airplane there was a curtain between the first class section and the economy class section - I really hate this class system......whatever happened to equality for all and everyone????...
A number of the passengers sitting around me were speaking in Spanish - I could not understand one word that they were saying - My Spanish classes and lessons in Spanish do not seem to have accomplished much in a practical, useful way yet.....
And the announcements over the airplane PA system in Spanish - the only words I understood were "gracias" and "Mexico" - and I think that I would have understood those words even without taking Spanish....
Note: I am taking Spanish courses and lessons in an attempt to learn Spanish....
At my current, present rate of progress, I estimate that it will take me about 30 years
for me to become fluent in Spanish.....
Going through the Mexican security system in Mexico City...the way it works is that you push a button - if a green lite, lites up - you go through with no security check - if a red lite, lites up - you get a security check - less than 1 person in 10 gets a red lite - I always get a red lite - what are the chances???? - I am a little bit suspicious of their so called random selection system for security checks.......
Once in Los Vegas - playing roulette - I bet on the black 20 times in a row - 20 times, in a row red came up - 20 times in a row, I lost on a 50/50 bet - what are the chances of that happening????/
I have never gambled much after that experience,.

A couple of months a ago there was a shootout in the Mexico City Airport and several policemen shot and killed 3 other policemen - apparently the crooked, corrupt cops shot and killed 3 other policemen.
Policemen killing policemen...
No shootouts in the airport while I was there - really very boring!!!!!
In fact, I didn't even see any policemen in the airport - maybe the police are
just too scared to come to or be at the airport anymore.....
