Don't go to Leavenworth unless you want to shop. I was set, with Shopper Girl by my side. Every store, every window display, evoked the same response.

Oh, how cute! She's not yet five, but she's definitely got the shopping gene.

Yes, we bought stuff. Stuffed cats with rosebuds on their tails. Sparkly goo-gaws for the Christmas tree. A bracelet? A tiny tea set, rose adorned? Windchimes for all?

Ye gads.
