Krimml is home to the highest waterfalls in Europe. I took a quick day trip out there, and took a gander at them. This is another example of how fit the people of teh Alps are. I was told it was an easy trail that anyone can hike - only 4 km. In Canada, an easy trail is really something that anyone, regardless of level of fitness or hiking experience, can do. So I was wearing a dress and sandals. Ya, this was not an easy trail. There is a very large line between what Canadians and Austrains think is appropriate for evryone. I walked 4 km up a decent incline and then back down, in sandals. It was fine, I could do it, but I knbow that at home it would be rated a moderate level taril. These guys are just in way better shape than we are.
Anways the falls were impressive, but very similar to those in the Canadian riokies.
