I hopped on a train this morning and went out to Kutna Hora. It was a cute little village, which was a breath of fresh air after being in the streets of Prague, which are crawling with tourists. I saw the oldest Cathedral in the Czech Republic, a chrurch decorated with the bones of an estimated 40,000 skeletons, and a lot of other neat little things on the street. I ate at a restaurant for the second time since I arrived in Europe. The portion was huge and I couldn't eat it all. I got the rest to go; it was put on a plastic plate and wrapped in tin foil. I put it in my pack, though I knew it was a bad idea. Yup, bad idea. The sauce went everywhere. I still ate it though, it cost money (what was left in the wrapping, not out of the backpack, just for clarification. It was grosse though, since there were pieces of plastic hidden within. PS: In total in Czech Republic I managed to only spend $215 Canadian dollars. That's a talent, since prices are quite comparable to Canada. PS: are people actually reading this? I'm doing it so you know that I am alive. But if no one looks at it there's really no point.

Hey Kristin, I just noticed that you had a travel blog. I'm totally going to be checking it out every day or two. I'm glad to hear things are going well, and that your plan to stay American...er...ignorant is failing! You're in Europe for God's sake, learn about a different way of life and enjoy!

Keep On Writing Kristin
I continually keep checking throughout the day to see if you've written anything. I leave both this and your Face Book page open to make it more convenient.
I email your reports to family. Your Grandmother and Great Aunt get called.
Everytime you mention what you've seen and where you stayed, I check the location out on Google Earth. I also do a search about the hostels you stay in and what you've seen.
Keep writing. It'll mean a lot more to you in the later years.
And don't run out of room in your camera but remember, you may want to make decent sized prints of some photos. So don't make them too small.
Stay safe. Keep aware of your surroundings.
Gene.
