This was our little luxury week. We stayed in a hotel on the main beach 'La Concha' with water views and a balcony!! The view of the beach from our room was amazing ! The room was as you'd expect a hotel in Australia......... really nice!
We had a great time there... the tapas was fantastic. We tired to find some paella but were unsuccessful... we found an awesome tapas bar in 'constitution square' that we went to every night. I'm telling you I never thought we'd eat frogs legs in Spain but this place served them up with some great sauce that was just to die for! Ant's favorite was the chorizo shish kebabs. Everything was cooked fresh so we just kept coming back for more tapas and lots more sangria.
After a feed one night we discovered a quiant little jazz bar that was really nice. Love the free prou in Europe. Costs 6-7€ for a drink but you get half a glass!!! Alcohol bottle here are so cheap....around 10€ for a bottle of absolut vodka!!! Crazy...we had to buy two bottle before we left Spain to take with us.
We got our first bit of a suntan in San Sebastian.... some of us decided not to use sunscreen 'coz I don't burn' and ended up a little more pink than brown (it wasn't me) But he is still darker than me...!!! But I do have a tan believe it or not!!
Still having troube downloading photos in internet places, hopefully get something working in the next week or so....
