It was just my luck the night before their was thunder of lighting all night- of course i was worried but luckily enough it cleared by morning - I met my fellow Gibbon searchers and off we went on a 3hour drive too the rain forest where we will be spending the next 2night 3days together.
You have two tour options one called the classic the other called the waterfall - they don't tell you much info of the difference , just that the waterfall takes you deeper into the jungle - so that was that then, the waterfall it was
You trek for a few hours before you do any zipping what so ever, to be honest this was not much fun.
We eventually reached the first cables and thats when the fun starts , are guides don't speak much English , they weren't much use to be honest . They stay with you at the zip lines for about 30Min's and then your on your own- I do like the independence that gives you but at the start you worry you might put on your cable wrong- but then you realizes its simple and that is that.
You sleep in cool tree houses you can see them in the pictures and yes we had a 2meter visitor which you can also see- we had to go get help to get rid of it as none of us were going near that green snake so we got a Laos man to take care of it - We were told that if that snake had a red tail it was deadly but as he had a brown tail he would only make you really really sick - thats OK i suppose , we are only like 6hours from a hospital!!
The two other lads thought it would be good crack if we did a bit of night time zip lining - of course i told them the dangers and tried to talk them out of such an idiotic idea - they would not budge so i decided to go with them. Its pitch black if you turn off your flash light , (well i had to borrow one as i was not organized enough to have my own) you could see nothing.anyways nobody died that night and great bant was had , so all was good

There were huge storms that night but luckily enough they stopped by morning , but i found out that leaches love a bit of rain, i hate those leaches one guy had it worse then me , One leach must have been on his balls for at least 1hour , he had a huge blood match all over his crotch- it was hilarious - especially as it wasn't me!!!

My group were real sound i was lucky as there were two groups , lets just say all they did was moan .
I put up a couple of video's you may have to tilt your computer or head - it up to you , to get a good luck of me zipping . I had a good time at the Gibbon Experience - anything a bit different too do , ill be keen.
Not much longer left in Asia :o(
