I suppose I need to buy a ticket to Warsaw at some stage so I did that this morning.  The quite impressive railway station, with lots of stalls outside selling blackberry wine and blackberry vodka...

On the way back to the centre I passed this fountain; just one of the many fountains in one of the many parks in Zagreb.  Better than that statue we have in Franklin Square that the pidgeons are always shitting on.  Yeah, this fountain is much better than the one Franklin's standing in too.

The main square from where I had to catch my tram to meet up with Joe and Slavko...

And the tram.  Bloody nice, convenient and there seems to be a tram just about every minute.  No wonder the taxi drivers have to rip tourists off... no local ever needs to take one.

Anyhow, I followed instructions and got off the tram at the station before it turns.  But it turns out that that turn used to be the last stop but now some trams turn and some keep on going.  But as a result of this mis-understanding I ended up waiting in the wrong place for an hour and a half.  But at least Joe and Slavko were looking for me.  Trouble is they were looking for me in the pub next to the stop where I was supposed to get off.

Joe and Slavko outside the family home in Dubrava, where their brother Marian now lives.

And the three brothers again.

On the way back to my hotel I ducked into the brand new casino that had just opened up down the road in their suburb.  It was as if someone had opened a small casino West Hobart.
