Part two of my trip has started. I will make a longer entry soon but this will have to be short.

I made it to my stay in Galle after a nice 4-hour ride from the Colombo airport and instead of staying at a hotel i am staying at the coordinators house in Galle. So far there are two other people who are doing construction with me. Two girls from Canada, Sara and Dana. Both are very friendly, fun girls and who should be a blast working with. This weekend we are going to go to Kandy, another town where there is to be a huge festival this weekend,. I have also met two Scottish girls, Samantha and Lauren who are working in an orphanage here as well as one Danish girl, Louisa who is teaching English to some monks. It seems I am the only male in this group. What a shame.

Sri Lanka is a lot different than Thailand. It is more run down and more like a 3rd world country. One cannot expect a whole lot considering the area was washed a way only a few years ago by a tsunami. I wish to say more but must be on my way.

I promise to write more in the upcoming days.
