Uh, the outlook today is dismal. I received a message from Ross saying he doesn't think he can meet up with me until after I get back from Rome. I'm not even sure I'm going to Rome. He said he was coming to meet me in Prague and would spend a couple of days with me here in Prague. This is ridiculous. Now I'm stuck with my stupid heavy expensive laptop and two other bags to protect and I'm supposed to go to Italy or Germany? Ugh, I'm freaking out. I need to go back to my dorm and do some serious looking at the material Krista printed for me and see what looks possible. The Slet was cool. It was kind of a downer meeting up with Skye, she was in a horrible mood and not adapting well to Europe. Whatever.

Ben, it was good to hear from you yesterday. We're glad you made it there in one piece!! Sorry to hear about your plans not working out. Just be sure to pray and God will help everything fall into place. Try not to get discouraged! You have an entire family here in Omaha praying for you. You will have fun in either Germany or Italy (Melia's been to both), but, if you can swing it, go for Italy. We love you and hope to hear from you again soon.

Well, after everything went so smoothly at first, there's likely to be a little snag somewhere. I'm sorry to hear about Ross. this is so much fun to hear how your trip is going. i'm sorry some of the things didn't quite work out for you as planned. i'm sure it will get better tho. take lots of pictures for all of your family stuck here in nebraska. we're praying for you ben!!

Hey Ben! This travel log thing is cool! Not only do I get to hear your experiences, I get to hear your mom's comments on your experiences - doubly fun. Sounds like you've already had some ups and downs on the trip. To be expected. You're in the Czech Republic, Ben, a trip of a lifetime. Take the punches as the come and remember to enjoy each day because it doesn't come back. Your charm should be able to get you by, that and trust in God - it's a good combo. By the way, who are Ross and Skye? I'm hoping today flows more smoothly. You're in my prayers.
