It was tiring to get home. When I got to Paddington, I was disappointed but not surprised. I was just a bit sad that I hadn't taken the underground straight to Heathrow instead of taking the pink line. Nonetheless, it wasted good time and it kept me awake. Sleeping in airports is not safe for someone's possessions. Luckily at the bus stop near Paddington I was able to read the map and find out all about night buses. There was also a Budgens open nearby to get some water. I just read which night bus goes to Heathrow and then looked at similar stops that were on the same line: most Kensington stops, Hammersmith and Trafalgar Square. It was pretty amazing how I was able to navigate that map and got to Heathrow. Usually with public transport, you have to ask to figure out how to get somewhere - especially when it requires a few transfers. But I figured it out by myself. After that it was clear sailing back home. I tried to go to bed for a long time to catch up on sleep. I'd only had 5 hrs on Monday and sporadic 2 hrs during travels. But I actually woke up about 6 am and tried really hard to go back to sleep. Now I'm alright.
