Where I stayed

I haven't really visited too many of the sights in Sofia so far, but as it currently seems, there really isn't too many sights to see. It's a flavorless town and it's definitely the most lacklustre of the capitals I've been to. Nonetheless, the people here are very nice and I've enjoyed my time here immensely. I'm sure when I get to see some of the more historic Bulgaria, I'll enjoy it even more. I've heard Veliko Tarnova and the Black Sea coast are amazing. I might even drop down to Turkey while I'm there since it's close. I haven't decided yet. It's been interesting going back to the Cyrillic states since going to Greece. In some ways it seems familiar, but it really isn't. It's very different from Macedonia and Beograd. Not much has really been happening, but I'm definitely recuperating from the night train/ferry that I took the past few days.

Addendum: Sofia's nightlife is crazy. I definitely had some of my greatest nights out here. So don't worry, my opinion of Sofia is MUCH different than how I came in.
