Having a grand time in Buenos Aires. I feel that I havenīt done all that I want to yet, so Iīm staying an extra night. Originally I was supposed to start heading my way to Iguaįu but at the moment, I think I should stay longer in a colder place so that when I get to the warmer temperatures in Brazil, it will be worth more to me. With so many English and Germans down here with me, Iīve started adding an extra little British in as well. But I speak with almost everyone in Spanish and it came so quickly to me. Again, Iīve been confused as local or Brazilian, no one expects me to be USian.

The nightlife here is pretty cool as well ;) But Iīve barely had enough sleep anyway. I usually have had less than five hours because I want to make it to breakfast or because thereīs something to catch early in the morning. But I donīt feel tired and thatīs good, the adrenaline keeps me up. I havenīt seen too many of the local local things that must be seen, but I got to see a lot of the good culture that Bs As offers. Iīve seen tango on the street, the buskers, San Telmo fair, Recoleta fair, Art fair, the Dia de la Bandera "political" rally with free music. I got to see a lot of things that one normally doesnīt see because itīs all been holidays since Iīve arrived. Thusly, everythingīs been closed, which isnīt good, which is another reason Iīm staying longer. I had to buy extra warm clothes though. That was my fault. I wore like half of my total clothes today, but on the plus side, I will get some great cheap Argentinian fashion, which is what I expected to do before I left anyway.

Having great fun and wish I could stay longer. In fact, everyone Iīve spoken to is staying months here in S.A. No one I know has been staying for a shorter period of time. Then again, I havenīt seen many N. Americans touring around. Weīre notorious for the four day holiday. So when I tell my friends back home Iīm off for three weeks, they think itīs a lifetime but to all the other travellers, itīs just a minute. And thatīs one reason I keep on going away to different countries - well one to experience culture and see where I fit in the world, but also because I want to catch up to the other kids who did a gap year and felt it was such an enriching experience. So I guess Iīve just been one extended intermittently scheduled gap year actually with Spain and Europe and the other journeys. I definitely feel I can keep going on with this, but Iīve gladly reached a level of satisfaction with travel.
