A 5.30am wake up call this morning, however I was up at 5! Shower and finish packing and into the foyer of the hotel by 6.15am. No one slept in and we all checked out and headed up to the breakfast room at 6.30. A super fast breakfast for 118 as we had to load the busses at 6.45 to leave at 7.00. One bus arrived at 6.50 and was loaded and ready to go by 7.00. The other bus did not arrive until 7.10. A quick passport check and we were on the road around 7.25.

Right now we are on a plane on our way to Helsinki to go back to home. I cannot wait to just jump on my bed!! I'm so tired but is can't seem to fall asleep. There are too many couples that were formed during the trip that it annoys me. I really needa. Boyfriend T.T we've got about just less than 2 hours until we land :) I need to buy souvenirs From there too :p I haven't got much money left though which kind of sucks. Jim is sitting next to me rapping about poo and wee... :/ such a jim thing (?).

Does not seem to be to much leg room on this flight. At least it is only 3 hours.

I was very tired and miserable at Helsinki airport that when Bowen gave me her cup of coffee to smell, I spilt some of it on me. I'm going to smell like coffee for the next day and a half! I can't wait to get a good night's sleep.
The Finnair flight we are on now is slightly "weird" - the TVs are tiny, the tables can swivel, the cup holder can only be used when the tray is stowed, the trays and TVs are blue, and the toilet takes what seems like ages to flush. I will survive though.

Some of the things done to pass the time at Helsinki airport: Play cards, board games, walk around the airport really fast, drink coffee, eat snacks, sleep, hang out at the power station charging items, use the free wifi, Facebook, skype friends and family, drive yr gear around in the trolleys, pretend your an aeroplane and much much more.

It's been such an amazing trip and I have bonded with a lot of people I wasn't close to before. It has been the best thing I have ever done and would do it again if I could. The languages were interesting to learn although I didn't try speaking it too much. Didn't want it to ever end.

Dear Europe,
Just because I'm not exactly vegetarian, does not mean I don't eat vegetables...
Yours Sincerely,
-Emma Feagan and probably every other non vegetarian on this trip...

So I ended up with an awesome roommate and thought everything would be great...until I discovered they snored...-_-
After the second sleepless night, I resulted to sleeping in the corridor behind a door and I was surprisingly comfortable and rather happy! Unfortunately some other hotel guests (hot ones might I add) woke me up by taking some attractive photos of me looking like death...nevertheless I rolled over and went back to sleep until one of the employers awoke me and told me to go back to my room with the snoring roommate and noise of the busy road :(
In conclusion after some complaining about my sleepless, but also eventful nights, I was told I could have Mr. Bentleys old room as he was leaving a day early. So the night before we left for out 42 hour trip back home to good old Australia, I slept in a super comfy bed and had a fantastic sleep!! The only downfall was the shower absolutely sucked...
Other than that trip has been pretty good!

Can't wait to get back to our guitars - Alphy and Finn
- Louis and Emma :)

A few of the parents with their kids caught the airport bus into Helsinki city centre. A pretty town. Lots of Christmas lights like Germany. Reminded me a little of Belin. Went to the Xmas markets, a lot smaller than the ones through Gemany. Had a reindeer sausage, which was really just horse meat and beef. The coffee was horrible! Very cold like Prague. It gets dark around 3.30 in the afternoon. Only stayed around 2 hours and then caught the bus back to the Helsinki airport. Was back by 8.20. Spent a couple of hours at the power station. This is an area which you can plug your chargers in and charge your phones, iPads etc... Spoke to the family and my dog. It is his birthday, he is 3. Born 12,12,10. Hope they give him a bone. We all assembled in the gate around 10.45 for boarding. Took quite a while, 45 mins, to board. 9-10 hours this one.

This flight is brutal. Does not seem to be to much leg room on this flight. Watched a couple of movies and fell asleep, sort of... Can't wait to land.
