Today we had a visit with Yujiro (someone I met on hospitality travel club). He lives here in Tokyo. He took us down some of the dark stairways that line the street. There was a tea room below. It had tables with little short stools and tables where you sit on the floor.Lucky for me he choose a table with the little stools, ha ha. It was relaxing and the temperature was cool.We asked him to order for us, I'll put in a picture of the menu and you will see why. Anyway it was a good experience. We could only visit a short time as we had to head to the train for the arena (Pride Fight). Not sure if I'll be able to tell that story tonight, but I will at some point. Lets just say there was blood there.
He ordered Jasmine tea, it came with some tiny, sweet dried fruit, he did not seem to know what fruit, but we ate it anyway. It was good.
He is meeting us in the morning and we are going to some temples and gardens. Also an area he said some children play, they are cute and are very interested in Zack. They use their English on him "Hello" "Good Bye", then run off laughing.
OK and later I want to have a show and tell about the toilet facilities here.....I have used them all (and I have pictures). All I can say is I am glad I have had practice wee wee in the woods.
