As planned we went to Heike's grandparents home for cake and coffee. Then a tour around the city. Went high above the castle to take pictures of the river. It has been cool and only raining at night.
In the evening another couchsurfer from California came by and we went to the broom restaurant to eat. You sit under the the grapes and are served food and wine from the land the restaurant is on. They call it a broom restaurant because they place a broom by the door the weeks they are open. This one will close in 6 weeks and reopen before Christmas. Heike said the surrounding countries have something simular but with different names. We were there on a Sunday and the food sells out early on weekends. I wished everything was not so expensive to send home. I would have liked to send a bottle of this wine home.
I am still sick and trying to lay around in morning then get out and see things. Will head to Switzerland in the next few days and then Paris next weekend.
