We are now here in the beautiful city of Hoi An and have had a great day. The sun was out and we were in shorts and sandals for the first time in weeks. Everything is decorated for Tet and full of visitors. The old town's architecture is very interesting and we spent the day staring up at the details of archways, windows, and doors. This evening was lit with untold numbers of silk lanterns lighting our steps through the old town. We strolled through the streets and alleyways and absorbed as much of the festive energy as possible, knowing that tomorrow, we will be leaving this peaceful little town for the hustle that is HCMC.
Can it be that the trip is almost over? It seems like we just got started! Enough belly aching, gotta run, and enjoy it while it lasts!
