Well, what can I say? A 14 hour flight is behind us and what do we arrive to...a delay until the wee hours of the morning. Our new arrival will be at 0300 on the 18th of January. Sooo that means we will have one day in Saigon prior to departing for Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. Hopefully the bed is cushy, as we have not slept much.
This is our first long trip flying United, as we usually fly Delta/KLM/Air France. The staff have been great and have been very helpful with all of the cancellations, delays, etc. We will see how the remainder of the trip goes, but missing a full day and two nights of our trip is not what we are used to and certainly not acceptable.
It is what it is. Hope all is well with all of you!

sorry you guys are having such delays....but knowing you two, you are making the best of it. As you say - "It is what it is". Lots of Love.

Ah, the uncertainty and adventure of travel. It is what it is -- and it is all great, even if it doesn't seem so at the time. Have fun, can't wait to hear more of the stories!
Hi guys,
We were flying United when we got stuck in Washington for 3 days, remember?
I was just talking to one of my students who just vacationed in Vietnam during the Christmas holidays. She absolutely loved it! She asked if you were going to the Cuchi tunnels? I am sure you are! She also said to watch out for the motorbikes! Looking forward to your next update. Love from all of us.
