Our first port of call was Frederiksted, St. Croix (USVI). At 84 sq mis, St. Croix is the largest of the US Virgin Islands and the furthest east US territory from the mainland (assuming you don't go to Guam or Somoa).
Frederiksted is a local town, so we hopped a local shuttle to Christenden about 20-30 miles away. Even though the vehicles are all American with left hand drive the roads are all left hand drive as well which was hard to process. This is a leftover from the British influence but Dutch and French also share a hand in this island.
Champagne brunch at Angry Nates featured eggs Benedict with local crawfish cakes and redskin potatoes. A little nap back on board the ship, work out and dinner rounds out the day. Tomorrow: St. Kitts.
