The plane was 10 minute late leaving Auckland and with a strong head wind, turbulent conditions and flying lower at 26,000 feet, we somehow arrived 10 minutes early into Sydney.

Just a 4 hour transit wait, so plenty of time to read Lonely Planet’s notes of the trip ahead of me - my trip preparation!
