Not knowing who or what are, I was told that they were alternative theatre, something about performing in water, the audience stood in the centre of the hall and the music … loud.

I knew it wasn’t going to be a tango show, opera or ballet and was expecting the unexpected. I wasn’t disappointed at all and really enjoyed the artistic variety demonstrated. To have a tank of water descend above us and the performers were sliding and running in the coloured water. Was there a story line? Didn’t bother me if there was or not.

When performing in New York, tickets are over US$100 but in their own town much cheaper. So with 4 others from the BA free tour group we wandered over to make our bookings. I paid 55 pesos for the night’s 9 pm 1 hour performance. Later in the week were sold out but rose to 70 peso. My 55 peso was only US$14 or NZ $19.

I may one day stitch all these short video clips together.

PS The answer to the question in my previous entry “Can you spot the picture where the windows are painted ie false?” Go back to the picture of the building with 8 large windows at the Plaza Cataluna. An optical illusion it is not.
