It’s was raining all night and still a drizzle this morning so the river level is no doubt even higher.

At 7 am down to the river and the trail head just a 10 minute walk away to what is becoming my favourite spot … 15 mins in solitude with no one around was enough to be thankful and appreciative of the majestic power that nature has.

Sorted out the time zone difference between Brazil and Argentina and yes, I gain an extra hour this afternoon so no panic Bruce …. 3.30 pm hotel pick up Brazil time gives me enough time to catch the 5.30 pm plane in Argentina and that includes a border crossing, check in etc.

Have 3 hours now in a WARM hotel complex and after this bit wet Macuco ride I need it. I think that I will let the pictures do the talking for me. Sorry so many but it was a real brief thrill ride. I think the boat went round at least 5 times and we all got a tad wet ... Let the videos speak for itself. VOTE for your favourite clip and let me know which one to keep. You have the rushes ie raw footage and some of the still images. The sound seems to disappear at the end of these clips on my computer. The camera work seems a bit shaky but hey … I have no stedicam. Thanks God(frey) for your advice re the Olympus waterproof camera. At least you will get an idea of the needle like pressure of the water cascading down on me. Yes I chose to sit on the right hand side of the boat on purpose having seen what the boat did near the face of the water fall from up high yesterday!

It takes for ever to upload video clips so best away and use the hotel free wi fi to do this ….

I will later put up more photos of the wonderful 5 star hotel. Thanks again Greg for the recommendation to stay here.
