When driving on a tour like this, quite often we have complete opposite consensus to which direction we need to take! With me being the driver, I normally win, but must admit, I'm often wrong..

On leaving Cairo, I took the wrong option yet again, and ended up going north, but luckily we came across a Total garage that did quick services. Calculated error...we took this opportunity to get an oil and filters change, which ended up being quite cheap and surprisingly quick.

The Suez canal was impressive, we viewed the canal from the town of Suez, right near the southern entrance. PC, I think barging could be tough, as the big tankers create quite a wake, and some could get quite sea sick....no names mentioned!

We carried on south, and came across a massive wind farm, with thousands of turbines, must be one of the biggest in the world. Quite stunning seeing this in the middle of nowhere, in the desert.

The landscape was beautiful driving down the east coast, with mountainous desert on the right, and turquoise ocean on the left, we really enjoyed the drive to El-Gouna resort.
