Dropped off our big bags in storage in Guilin town and just packed our day packs for 3 days while we're in the Longji terraces.

Drove by private bus to the first village - we had to walk up loads of steps to get there first though - the walk took about 20 minutes. The surroundings are stunning here.
 
We chilled and had noodles at the hostel and went to bed relatively early in preparation for our long trek the next day.

28 June - The Longji terraces trek.

7.30am - Scrambles eggs on toast
8.15am - Start the trek
8.25am - Dying from exhaustion and cannot believe the amount of steps!

9.15am - WOW! So beautiful. The views of the terraces are beautiful.
12.30 - Trek complete. Legs and feet are so sore but so worth it. Arrive at second village of Ping An.
18.30 - Last dinner with the group and Bing our tour guide. 

At 21.00 we watched a show performed by the local ladies, where they sing and dance and also got the group involved in some dancing between poles. Great fun.

Bron.. wow Longi terraces is so cool, i haven't seen anything like that... lol the walk... 8.25am - Dying from exhaustion and cannot believe the amount of steps!! ah ah ha ha ha ha

You must have had so much fun there and by the way all that sun and walking has done you so good, you look amazing! i miss you my friend!
