The folks in Homer really need to work on their July 4th parade ...... pretty sorry, the best entry was the local firetruck honking his horn! Luckily, there are other things to do around Homer during the week of the 4th, like fishing for halibut, ferrying over to Seldovia for lunch & the afternoon, dropping in to the world famous Salty Dawg Saloon for a brew, walking through the lush green woods, and flying Quincy's kite.
