I absolutely loved Antwerp. It is metropolitan, cultural, tourist-friendly, and beautiful, all at the same time. I really felt like if I ever lived in Europe, Antwerp would be a great choice. It's so beautiful but just seems really livable too, and the rest of Europe is so easily accessible. You should go! We actually only had a couple days there and it rained the whole time, so we visited a photography exhibit, saw a movie, and did some shopping. It doesn't sound like that exciting of a visit, but I guess you just had to be there. Oh, and the central station is absolutely breathtaking. You should visit for that reason alone.
