About four days before Nick and I were due to be in Prague we had a call from our high school friend Jess, who was living in Scotland, saying she wanted to meet up with us. That's one of the great things about Europe, everywhere is just a few hours away. So, after not seeing her in over three years, there we all were in Prague!

We had a great weekend together, taking in all the regular sights, plus a few unexpected ones (a couple walking a cougar in the park?!). I'm writing this and the rest of our entries two months later (oops) so they won't be very detailed, but my main feelings about Prague are that it is very beautiful and relaxed, and also not too expensive. We ate out every night, with beers. :) Nick enjoyed the Czech beer immensely. It was quite chilly while we were there, but clear and sunny, making for a nice autumn weekend.
