Okay so it wasn't actually stinky, but isn't this what everyone thinks of when you hear the word Helsinki? No? Just me? Anyways, we took the ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki and stayed for two nights. There isn't really that much to do there except stroll around and enjoy it. There is quite a big market by the wharf, both indoor and outdoor, where we had some reindeer meatballs and whole little Finnish fish. Tip: go to the food stalls at the end of the day and get a good deal! The lady said she'd fill up a plate with as much as we liked for 5 euros. Not too shabby.

We couchsurfed again in Helsinki, this time with an Italian guy named Marzio who is studying to become a chef. He works two jobs while attending school so he didn't have too much time to spend with us, but he was still extremely nice and welcoming. He gave us a key and we had our own room! We felt very at home

So all in all Helsinki wasn't all that exciting, but BOY were we excited when we boarded our overnight ferry to Stockholm! It was a massive cruise ship with 12 floors and about 8 restaurants, and a huge duty-free store where you could buy cold beer and then drink it up on the sun deck. Amazing! Our cabins were like a cross between a hostel room and a hotel room, with two bunk beds and an ensuite bath with shower. There was even a desk and hair dryer! It was pretty flash.

In the morning we got up early to have breakfast and then enjoy a sauna and hot tub before arriving in Stockholm at 9:30. The whole thing was pretty luxurious but seemed kind of like a silly novelty place after we got used to it. Don't think we'd ever spring for a big cruise, but you never know.
