Where I stayed
Rayong Resort

We all had been looking forward to this trip. We had seen amazing pictures of the resort, heard amazing stories and then we were ready to experience this place.
I could spend this whole entry talking about two very important issues that occured on the trip or I can mention then very briefly and then just hope that those in power will reflect upon these to things.
One. There was no Vegetarian food. Real quickly I must say that about 90% of the EIS staff are carnivores. And because such a high percentage do not follow the Seventh day Adventist health message, those who wish not to crunch on shrip or chew a baby chicken, had to suffer and eat white rice. At the end of the trip things were changed and they set aside a table just for us veggie lovers. This is probably just one of those Culture differences that we have to put up with. I want to thank those in charge who bent over backwards to supply us with some nourishment that weekend.
Two. I have decided not to elaborate upon the second important issue due to the possible backfire effect my mentioning of it might have on the resolution process it self.

Moving on. Imagine winding down a hill side after a long trip and through the palm trees blue majestic beauty streams into your eyes from the vast ocean before you. That was what my first glimpse of Rayong resort was like. It was absolutely amazing. I got to see who was there for God and who was there just to have fun in the sun. I got to learn more about my fellow co workers in ways that I never could have imagined and in ways that I will hold dear to my heart. Over all I cant say it was great or horrible, good or bad, I only can say it had a little bit of everything.
