Ok If you want to  have an island get away filled with great day trips to waterfalls, elephant rides and other wild crazy activites you should totally go to Koh Samui, Thailand. 
I was able to meet up with my two German friends, Tamy and Steffie again. It was great to spend another whole long week end all in German.
