The Ajanta Caves are one of India's World Heritage Sites.  These Buddhist caves date back to 200BC - 200AD.   There are 24 caves carved into the escarpment.   There are incredible paintings inside some of the caves, all of which tell a story of Buddha. We spent a couple of hours wandering around these amazing caves, trying to take it all in.
