I always get so frusterated when people go on trips and they don't keep a travel blog! I fully intended to be a GREAT travel blogger, but I guess I now know how difficult it actually is to commit to writing in a travel blog each day. I'll try better from now on! To sum up my travels so far - Miami was one of the funnest weeks of my life, having the superbowl the same week I was there brought all insanity to south beach! Concerts, contest, celebrities, atheletes etc. Met some of the funnest people I think I'll ever meet in my life at the- International Backpackers Hostel, its amazing how fast you can become so close with people! After Miami headed to Sao Paulo, which I am so thankful that my friend Nathalia's brother was there to pick us up and show us around, SO nice of him! He even brought Jenni and I out for dinner at one of his favorite restaurants! He also took us to the Soccer...eerr Futbol Museum which was really interesting, they had every ball from the world cup there and also had videos and history of the growth of futbol throughout the world and highlights of previous games, anyways it gave me a new appreciation for the sport! That night we got to have a first hand experience and attended a game. It was great! The goalie for Sao Paulo is the best player on the team, and is one of the top players for being a goalie and scoring the most goals!!! He got to shoot a penalty shot, which I think would have put him AT the top, but he missed. bummer. I have a video of it I'll TRY to put up soon! After Sao Paulo we bussed to Rio de Janeiro for Carnival. Biggest party in the world, what more can be said. Ha! It was about 110 degrees every day and showering was no point, you'd be sweating, shower and just start sweating immediately after. The Sombadrome was definitely one of the most amazing things I will ever experience. There are Somba schools from each (..MANY) neighborhoods of the city and they spend all year working on their theme, costume, floats, etc. The atmosphere at the sombadrome is great, everyone is on their feet, cheering, taking pictures, having a ball from 8 pm to 7 am! After Rio, Jenni and I made it to Buenos Aires to meet up with Jennis sister, Jodi, and from here we headed down to a small beach town in Argentina, Mar del Plata. Cute town, we didn't have great weather, so didn't get up to too much. From there we went to Punta del Este, Uruguay which I LOVED. We stayed in a hostel that is a couple's house, so they had their dog there and there little boy and it was just a really "homey" atmosphere, very relaxing. The whole town was very relaxing! I guess it is slow in March, but thriving during the months of December and January. Its a town where the rich and famous of South America go, so the houses are mansions and they are amazing. I took some photos, that again I'll post one of these days. Okay so for NOW I'm in Buenos Aires and LOVING it! I found the best apartment I think I could have ever found and am living with some awesome people - Mari, from finland. Alexeis and Memo from Mexico, and Josu from Spain! We are all really laid back and share the same lifestyle, ha, in bed around 4 am, out of bed around 1 pm! We have meals together and hang out during the days/nights. Its been great! I've also met some great friends through University - Katelyn, who unbelievable is from St.Cloud, MN! Crazy! And then she introduced me to two girls she met at a hostel who are now living here, Elspeth and Georgia, both from the UK. So the 4 of us have spent a lot of time together - we have a blast! Anyways- the pictures are all of my apartment, the surrounding area, my roommates and my friends. My apartment is on one of the busiest streets in Buenos Aires, and is just down the block from the botanical gardens, the zoo, and if you walk a bit further it brings you to the ocean - unfortunately not a beach, but the ocean none the less. If you walk the other direction it brings you to Palermo - SoHo - Hollywood, the "poshest" area of Buenos Aires, up and coming designers have their botiques here along with the best of restaurants and bars. Many Argentine television programs and movies are filmed here! So, to say the least, I hit the jackpot with my apartment!! Okay well off to Tigre this weekend, so I'll write about that when I'm back!

Hi Britt - Love the pictures. It sounds like you're having a great time and making lots of friends as always! Looks like a beautiful area! I think Ryan and I should come down and visit! How much are hotels & restaurants? If we have enough air miles I would seriously consider it!!!

Love and miss you!
