It's our last day in Prague, so we decided to do the Prague free tour since we don't really know too much about the city. They have quite an interesting and long history with so many governments. They finally became the Czech Republic in 1993. We saw the hourly performance of the astronomical clock, which would have been the biggest disappointment if you were expecting some grand show. The astronomical clock became a huge tourist attraction and brought in a lot of money for the city. So I order for the city to make sure the guy doesn't build another one in another city, they captured him and burned his eyes out. Then for his revenge, he had his servant take him to the clock, lead him inside, and he jumped into all the gears do the clock. He did kill himself, but he also stopped the clock. Since he was the only one who knew how it worked it took them over 80 years to get it running again.

The tour was very interesting and I was glad it didn't have too much to do with WWII. I'm tired of only learning about WWII and Nazi Germany, especially coming from Germany. After the tour we had some crowns left, so we went to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch to spend all our crowns.

Michelle and I both have fuzzy jackets, so we came up with The Fuzzy Jackets Duo. We even came up with how our powers ignite. We are warming people, one fuzzy jacket at a time. Essentially, we have too much time on our hands and are finding fun things to talk about. We hopped on the night train and off to Venice, Italy we go! It's our last country together and it's very sad.

Ok, so not off to Italy quite yet. Our train got delayed because of another train on the tracks. Therefore instead of getting in at 11:00pm, we get into Munchen (connection) we get in at 12:30am. Our connection to Venice left at 11:40pm so we now need to get new train tickets. We just used our last day for our EURail pass, so we have to figure that out too. After waiting in line for thirty minutes we get up and the guy validates our passes for another day and we get a hotel voucher to leave in the morning! Hotel bed over seat in a train to sleep....I'll take that any day. Sometimes crappy situations do work out, even though we are losing part of a day in Venice.
