Today we toured the Sapporo Beer Museum with a beer tasting to follow! For 500 yen we were able to sample 3 kinds: Black Label, Classic, and Kaitakushi, which was our favorite. We also sampled some ice cream because the flavors were so outragous. Beer flavored on top of salt and pepper flavored ice cream! The beer flavored was quite good, not a strong flavor at all. The salt and pepper on the other hand was very peppery. Adam wasn't to fond of it, but I kind of liked it.

Next went back to the Snow Festival where we ran into Domo! A picture with him was definitely a must. For food we decided to check out a food court we read about at JR Station. There was numerous floors dedicated to just food. We settled on a restaurant where we would get the most "bang for our buck." Our meal came with a ramen soup, a rice dish topped with sashimi and and egg, a type of pickled vegetable, and green tea. As it turned out the egg was slightly raw and the white was like something we had never tasted before, and not in a good way. :( The rest of the meal was very good though.

Next we found ourselves on the arcade floor where we decided to play one game each. Adam got determined to win a big can of Choco Flakes. We both got a little carried away and spend a good hour playing silly games and deciding tactics to win this Choco Flake can.

On our way home we ended up back at the Snow Festival and watched a Japanese rock band play on one of the ice sculpture stages. We also managed to find a snack, Lamb Steak, which was very tasty. By this time it was near 10 pm and the festival was shutting down for the night, so we decided to begin our walk back to the hostel.

Tomorrow we check out of the hostel and into a hotel. I think we are going to take a day trip to a small town called Otaru.
