Upon our arrival in Bangkok, after 25 hours of flying time, and 7,400 mile trip, my son, Randy greeted us at the airport exit gate. It was a warm greeting, as we had not seen each other in over seven years. We then took a taxi for transport to Randy's condominium. (As a side note, the stearing wheel in the vehicles are on the wrong side and they drive on the wrong side of the road. HA.) We visited for a few minutes then hit the bed for a much needed nights sleep and rest.
We had a leisurely morning this day. In the afternoon we went to the India Embassy to apply for a travel visa to India. We can pick up our visa's on 23 June.
This evening we went out to dinner then returned to Randy's condo for a restful evening and early to bed. We are slowly adjusting to the different time zone.
