My dad thought we had put a sign on the back of the trailer that said, "Cut me, off...please".  The drivers in New York and New Jersey are very rude!!!  We lost count on how many times my dad got cut off!  My mom said his blood pressure was through the roof!  We tried to stop for gas at a rest stop and the line reminded my parents of the line in something they called the energy crisis in the 70's.  We were afraid we would run out of gas before we could get gas, so we kept going.

We arrived at Turkey Swamp and have a cool campsite!  We back up to no one and only see trees!  My parents are in heaven!

We had dinner at the Manalapan Diner, for $12.95 you got soup, salad, cheese bread, incredible brisket, real mashed potatoes and a vegetable, oops I forgot the dessert.  Can you believe that???  A Jersey diner at its best.  You should have seen the cakes and pies.  My parents took the cheese bread home for breakfast!!!

I miss those diners and there's something comforting about seeing my birthstate in print even if the drivers are the worst...makes me smile!
