We went to Grindstone National Park in Troutdale, VA. Now from the very moment we pulled in my parents loved the place but my brother and I had other thoughts. First off there was no T.V., Cell service, Internet, and at one point we didn’t even have water. I have to admit it was beautiful. When we were all settled in I went down to the ranger station and asked where the nearest restaurant was, and they said either 20 miles to the right or 20 miles to the left. OK I thought what about the nearest hot spot for cell phones they answered 8 miles to the left. So that was our day. Not to mention we drove 6 hours to get here.
