Kevin woke me up today, 9:30 am :( boooo!!! I like sleep! He asked if I would go to church. I said sure why not...fuck it. I kinda had no choice. Got up, got ready, went... It was a Catholic Church. My first time ever in a Catholic Church. The preachers (i guess) ??? There were dressed in purple long robes, they had the little white thing on there neck line!! Just like catholic preachers on TV. We walked in to sanctuary and had to squeeze by two people sitting, to get to Kevin's mom & sister. It was communion!!! The last 10 random times I've been in a Church, it was communion! I kinda wonder if they do every time? I remember going to church as a kid and they didn't do it every time... I guess I'm thinking about it to much. Well...... I didn't have any crazy spiritual awakenings! I didn't speak in tongues. Didn't dance with snakes, roll around on floor, I didn't get to see a demon be pulled out of a young looking Linda Blair. Although that would have been entertaining to see.... Nothing like that happen! Lmao! I think I gotta chill with a back woods Pentecostal church for that.
I wanted to take a photo inside the church of preachers but I was kinda drawn back from doing that! It was a fully packed church! I didn't eat the bread or drank the juice. I wasn't really feeling the fact that I would have to drank out of a silver goblet that 100 people put the mouth on. Not trying to get sicker b4 I dip out. People like to sit, kneel, stand, sing, say peace to the people sitting around you. Then... Sit, kneel, pray, stand, sing....

After Kevin ate the bread and drank the juice he met me is the back and we walked out to the little garden area, he gave me a small lecture about the catholic religion, the pope, anti popes etc etc.. the church had a lot if diversity, Asians, African Americans, Indians, a lot of differ types of people. It was interesting. I hope to make it to Peru to have a ahawaska spiritual experience with a shaman. I would like to blog about it!

After leaving church Kevin and I drove around looking at the ridiculously over sized homes that take up so much of Baton Rouge area! We stopped at a flee market and I bought a step on on my gauges 7'16!! Said I was not going to go bigger, and it's hard for me to let go of my Russian amber plugs but I wanna go up! Saw a glass artist was a old and shakes a lot but he was getting the job done! Was neat to watch him! He was coughing up all kinds of stuff and still just blowing away and forming the glass how he wanted. Was amazing!
We left flee market and when to a gigantic store that had all kinds of camping stuff and guns. Kevin bought me two pairs of Tevas for less than twenty dollars!! That was a super good deal considering I was going to but two pairs from amazon.com for like 80 dollars!! I also got some water filtration tables.
The weather is looking really bad in Baton Rouge. Hope it gets better b4 I arrive in Mexico. And I hope weather is better in Mexico. So glad I am not dependent on any medications anymore!! It's a amazing feeling to be absolutely clean!
Thanks for reading reading my blog. Can't wait to be in Central America!!!!!!!!!! So excited
