Lovely city with thriving fish market, lovely architecture, old city area with character buildings and a furnicular that takes you up nearby moutain for spectacular views across city. A number of the passengers took the well advertised Norway in a nutshell tour but were dissapointed as the train was crowded and if you were sitting facing backwards then not so interesting. Good tip is to do the Gerainger fjord trip by coach to the mountains and when in Bergen visit this beautiful city. It has great charm and lovely buildings through out.
